MT-P-type of Inter-Connector

The MT-P-type of Inter-Connector is a based mt_p_01on the MT-T-type, having the wires protruded from the base elastomer sheet by 20 μm. The protruded wire surfaces are Ni/Au plated to improve the contact resistance and durability.

The contact is provided at very low compression to reduce mechanical strain on the device under test. The MT-P-type is intended to be used for flat contacts pads. BGA style of contacts are using the MT-type and MT-T-type.

Attention points:
* The MT-P-type is generally used with a fixation and alignment frame that is not include by the MT-type.
* A small amount of silicone will remain on the substrates connected by the MT-P-type of Inter-Connector.
* Contamination like dirst and dust will remarkably increase the contact resistance of the Inter-Connector.
